FOCUSED BILLING and COLLECTIONS TEAM

Erica has been in the medical field over 10 years. She received her Medical Assistant certification in 2011 and in 2013 started her career as a Medical Assistant. Erica worked with cardiology, internal medicine and pediatrics. She loved working with patients but wanted to expand her horizons so she decided to go into Medical Billing. She is now a billing specialist and office manager for the last two years. She has strong skills in analyzing problems and finding solutions in a timely and efficient manner. During Erica's spare time she loves going to the gym, watching sports, and meeting new people.

Whitney is the owner of Skylark Billing and Collections, which is a partner company with Focused Billing and Collections. She has extensive knowledge of billing and coding for a variety of specialties. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia PA from 2006-2010, where she knew she had a passion for healthcare. Now, she has made it her mission to help healthcare providers reach optimal goals within their practice; both in billing and in the front office. In her spare time, Whitney enjoys volunteering with Peaches and Sour Cream Children’s Foundation, Inc. promoting literacy for at-risk youth.

“Amanda has been in the medical billing world for over 6 years and enjoys the challenges and puzzles that are presented with it every day. At the end of her day, she enjoys winding down with her fiancé, three stepdaughters, and her pets. In her free time, you can find her playing roller derby for Jersey Shore Roller Derby.”

Jackie is currently enrolled in the AAPC medical billing and coding class at Brookdale College. Jackie has many years of medical experience working as a receptionist for a Direct Medical Equipment Company.

When Jackie is not at school or working, she enjoys spending time with my family and friends.

Nicole comes from a strong medical background with over 10 years of data entry and billing experience. Her attention to detail and solid work ethic contributes to efficient and timely billing and collections knowledge.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Jaime has over 20 years of health care experience. She has worked for both HHA’s and CHAA’s in both office, hospital and rehabilitation settings. She has a background in insurance authorization and billing during her time working in home care. She is well versed in medical terminology and loves helping people. When she isn’t working she is home with her husband and children.

Amanda has over 12 years of health care experience. She has worked closely with residents in a nursing and rehabilitation center, patients in physical therapy and orthopedic settings and is also a certified phlebotomist in which she’s helped patients ranging 8 days to 98 years old. She became a nationally certified medical billing and coding specialist in May 2020 and brings with her many years of customer service and medical terminology.

When Amanda is not in the office, she enjoys going to the gym, laughing with friends and spending time with her family..

Victoria has been in the medical field for over 5 years. She started out as a CMA/Phlebotomist. Although she loves being hands on with patients, she learned her interest gravitated more towards the administrative side. She has gained a lot of knowledge from working with many different types of doctors throughout the years.

When she’s not at work you can find her spending time with her family and friends.
